Eligibility
1. Applicants must be a Permanent resident of Naogaon District.

2. Applicants should be poor and meritorious.

3. Applicants who passed SSC/HSC/Equivalent examination with GPA 5.00 in 2014 and are studying in HSC/Bachelor Level can apply.

4. Freedom fighters children and physically disable candidates must have minimum GPA 4.50.

Applicants should collect free application form from all TNO Office of Naogaon or District Council Office of Naogaon. Applicants have to submit application form with the following documents: 

1. Photocopies of mark-sheet/academic transcript/1 copy passport size photograph which is attested by Head of the Institution or 1st class Gazetted officer. 

2. Birth registration certificate from Mayor/Councilor of Municipality or Union Council Chairman. 

3. Recommendation of Head of the Department/Institution must necessary in application form. 

4. Attested certificate of economical undeveloped condition from Municipality Mayor/Union Council Chairman signed by related TNO. 

5. Freedom fighters children have to submit the Freedom Fighters Certificate from Ministry. 

6. Physically disabled candidates have to submit certificate from Social Welfare Department.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must pass SSC/HSC/Dakhil/Alim Examination of 2014 with GPA 5.00 in Science group GPA 4.75 in Commerce and GPA 4.50 in Arts. 

2. Applicants of Freedom Fighter and Disabilities quota must have at least GPA 4.00 in all examination. 

3. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Sirajganj District and a MBBS, BSc Engineering or 1st year student of any govt recognized universities of Bangladesh. 

4. Citizen certificate from related union parishad/city corporation office to prove the permanent resident of Sirajganj District.

ওয়াও ওয়াও হর্ষধ্বনি মুখরিত সিলসিলা রেস্টুরেন্টের চত্বর। সবাই দারুণ উপভোগ করছিলো ক্লাব সার্ভিস ডিরেক্টর রোটা. সাজ্জাদের সবাইকে পরিচিত করে দেয়ার নাটকীয়তা। ক্লাব সার্ভিস ডিরেক্টর বলেই কি তার এই দক্ষতা? সত্যিই মাইন্ডব্লোয়িং। যে জন্য সবাই একত্রিত এবং পরিচয় বিনিময় তা হল আদনান ভাইয়ের আগমন। এক্স রোটার‍্যাক্টর আদনান ভাই। বিশাল ব্যবসায়ী। ব্যাবসার তাগিদে অল্প সময়ের জন্য রাজশাহী আসা।

কিন্তু এই অল্প সময়েও ক্লাবকে ভুলতে পারেন নি তিনি। ভালবাসার টানে ছুটে এসেছেন ক্লাবকে দেখতে, ক্লাবের সঙ্গি সারথিদের দেখতে। সম্ভবত এটাই ক্লাবের বড় সাফল্য। যেখানে সারা পৃথিবীর মানুষ বিচ্ছেদের মহামারিতে আক্রান্ত, সেখানে রোটার‍্যাক্টর ক্লাব গড়ে তুলছে মানুষে মানুষে এক অবিচ্ছেদ্য সম্পর্ক। সেখানে নেই কোন জাতপাতের বালাই, নেই পূর্বসুত্রিতা। এই যে আদনান ভাই। ক্যাম্পাস ছেড়েছেন দেড় যুগ আগে। বয়সের পার্থক্য সবার সাথে গড়ে এক কুঁড়ি। কিন্তু কিসের তাগিদে উপযাচক হয়ে খোঁজখবর নেয়া। নাহ...বলা মুশকিল। শুধু হৃদয় দিয়ে অনুভব করতে হয়।  

ততক্ষণে চলে এসেছে সিঙ্গারা, পুরি, মিষ্টি, আর লেমন ডিউ। সব আদনান ভাইয়ের পক্ষ থেকে।

সবাই যেখানে বসে ছিল তার পিছনেই একটা অশ্বথ গাছ। এই গাছটা কালের সাক্ষী। কত গেস্টের আগমন ঘটেছে শুধু ক্লাবের ভালবাসায়, ওই শুধু জানে।

আদনান ভাইয়ের যাবার সময় হয়েছে। যাবার আগে তিনি আমাদের উদ্দ্যেশ্যে একটা কথাই বললেন, ‘এই যে তোমরা আমাকে যে অবস্থানে দেখছ, এর পিছনের শক্তি কিন্তু ক্লাবেই লুকিয়ে আছে। তোমাদের তা উদ্ধার করতে হবে। আর তা শুধুই ভালবেসে, নিবেদিত প্রাণ হয়ে। কোনো লোভের বশবর্তী হয়ে নয়।’

আদনান ভাই চলে গেলেন কালো রঙের বিএমডব্লিউ আয়েশি গাড়িতে চড়ে । রেখে গেলেন স্মৃতি, দিয়ে গেলেন ভালবাসা, প্রাণচাঞ্চল্য আর উদ্দামতা-যা সবার চোখে মুখে উদ্ভাসিত।

নদ ও নদীর পার্থক্য

কোনও জলপ্রবাহের নাম যদি মহিলাবাচক হয় তাহলে নদী এবং পুরুষবাচক হলে নদ।গঙ্গা, সরস্বতী, যমুনা, পদ্মা, গৌরী, ভাগীরথী, চিত্রা, নর্মদা, কাবেরী, কৃষ্ণা কর্ণফুলী প্রভৃতি মহিলাবাচক নাম, তাই নদী লেখা হয়। কপোতাক্ষ, ব্রহ্মপুত্র, নারদ, ভৈরব, কুমার, মুসা খান, মির্জা মাহমুদ প্রভৃতি পুরুষবাচক নাম, তাই নদ লেখা হয়। অনেকে মনে করেন, যে জলস্রোতের নামের শেষে আ-কার কিংবা ই-কার থাকে তাকে নদী বলা হয়। অন্যদিকে যে জলস্রোতের নামের শেষে আ-কার কিংবা ই-কার থাকে না তাদের নদ বলে। যেমন-তুরাগ, কপোতাক্ষ, ব্রহ্মপুত্র, নীল, বালু, সাঙ্গু প্রভৃতি নদ নামে পরিচিত।

তবে এ সূত্রের কিছুটা ব্যতিক্রম ও বিতর্ক লক্ষণীয়। সর্বাধিক গ্রহণযোগ্য সূত্র হল :নামের শেষে যদি আকার, একার, ওকার, ঔকার প্রভৃতি থাকে তবে নিশ্চিতভাবে সে প্রবাহগুলো নদী নামে অভিহিত হবে। নামের শেষে এগুলো না-থাকলে এবং শুধু হ্রস্ব উ-কার থাকলে সেটি নদ হবে। যেমন : ‘আড়িয়ালখাঁ’ পুরুষজ্ঞাপক নাম হলেও শেষে আকার রয়েছে। সে জন্য এটি নদ না হয়ে নদী। কিন্তু ‘মুসা খান’ নামের অন্ত-বর্ণ ‘দন্ত্য-ন’-এর পরে আকার একার কিছু নেই, এ জন্য এটি নদ। ‘সিন্ধু’ বানানের শেষে যেহেতু হ্রস্ব উ-কার রয়েছে, সেহেতু এটি নদ। একইভাবে ‘বালু’ একটি নদ। ‘নীল’ স্ত্রী নাম জ্ঞাপক একটি প্রবাহ। যেহেতু এর শেষে আকার, একার কিছু নেই, সে জন্য এটি নদ। এভাবে ‘ঘাঘট’ স্ত্রী নাম জ্ঞাপক জলপ্রবাহ হলেও অন্তবর্ণ ‘ট’-এর পরে আ-কার, এ-কার নেই, তাই এটি নদ।

অনেকে নদ ও নদীর আরও একটি বৈশিষ্ট্যের কথা উল্লেখ করেন। সেটি হল - একটি সর্বদা পূর্ব-পশ্চিম দিকে প্রবাহিত হয় এবং অন্যটি সর্বদা উত্তর-দক্ষিণ দিকে প্রবাহিত হয়ে থাকে। নদীর প্রবাহদিক খেয়াল করে থাকলে নদের প্রবাহদিক অনুধাবন করা যায়।আবার কারও কারও মতে, নদের কোন শাখা বা উপশাখা হয় না। পুরুষবাচক নাম বলে হয়তো এমন ধারণা। তবে এর কোন ভিত্তি নেই। ব্রহ্মপুত্র নদ হলেও শাখা আছে। যেমন : শীতলক্ষ্যা ও যমুনা যদি ব্রহ্মপুত্রের শাখা। আসলে, নদ ও নদীর সঙ্গে শাখা থাকা না-থাকা নিয়ে কোন সম্পর্ক নেই। এটি সম্পূর্ণ ব্যাকরণগত এবং ভারতীয় পুরাণ বা প্রচলিত প্রবাদের উপর নির্ভরশীল। আমাদের উপমহাদেশের সংস্কৃতিতে নদ ও নদীকে যথাক্রমে নারী ও পুরুষ হিসেবে ভাগ করার পেছনে পুরাণ, ধর্মীয় ও লোকজ বিশ্বাসের ভূমিকা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। শাখা থাকুক আর নাই থাকুক, ব্রহ্মার পুত্র ব্রহ্মপুত্রকে মেয়ে ভাবার কোন সুযোগ নেই। তেমনি হিমালয়দুহিতা গঙ্গা, সে তো নারী ছাড়া আর কিছু হতে পারে না। পারে কি?
